Behind the Green Curtain: The Machine Behind the Mysticism
The Akashic Records are sold to spiritual seekers as a sacred cosmic library beyond linear space and time, a quantum field of intelligence that is an interface between humanity, divine knowledge and the secrets of the universe.
They are said to chronicle your history and potential destinies as a soul, every thought, emotion, experience and intention of your incarnations, your karma and evolution.
And we’re told that the Record Keepers hold our soul blueprints, life scripts, soul contracts and are there to guide us in resolving our karma, mastering our lessons, aligning our human embodiment with what we are as souls, fulfilling our authentic purpose and embodying our highest expression as souls on the path to ascension.
But what if the truth is far less mystical—and far more sinister?
What if the Akashic Records aren’t what we’ve been told they are?
What if, rather than guiding souls towards alignment and evolution, they’re serving a much darker agenda concerning the fate of souls?
I don’t make these accusations as an outsider looking in. I worked intensively and extensively with the Akashic Records —until what happened to me made me question everything that I thought I knew about who they are, what they are and who they really serve.
The Akashic Records made themselves known to me from the beginning of my spiritual awakening, as I synchronistically received readings at pivotal junctures in my journey.
I became intrigued by the Records, and a succession of synchronicities guided me towards Mystery School to become a certified Akashic Record Reader.
I graduated with distinction and continued practising with Akashic groups across the UK and USA to deepen my relationship with the Records and my mastery of working within them.
The two spiritual authorities most closely associated with overseeing the Akashic Records are Thoth, the ancient Egyptian God of wisdom, writing and knowledge, who served as the divine scribe and recorder of human deeds; and Archangel Metatron, whose origins are associated with Enochic and Jewish apocalyptic traditions and who later emerges within Jewish mysticism and Kabbalah as the heavenly scribe, associated with celestial records and divine secrets.
Archangel Metatron was my primary guide and described himself as being like a father to me. I bonded with him and I trusted him.I trusted the Record Keepers. I believed in the Records. I spent hundreds of hours in the Akashic Records working with Metatron and the Record Keepers.
So when I tell you the Akashic Records are not what they claim to be, I didn’t reach that conclusion lightly. I was deeply invested in the Records and the New Age; walking away cost me my spiritual belief system, community and what had become my main source of income.
But before we can uncover what the Akashic Records really are, we need to understand where they came from, their purported purpose—and the authority they claim to have over the journey of the soul.
Although they’re often presented as ancient spiritual knowledge, the terminology describing the Akashic Records arose through late nineteenth-century Theosophy, particularly the work of Madame Blavatsky, before being further developed by figures including Rudolf Steiner and Edgar Cayce.
There are older and more enigmatic references to the “Mind of God”—a repository of everything that has ever occurred, and everything that can be known.
The modern mythology conceptualises the Records essentially as a Google for the Universe—an apparently limitless source of information that can be queried about almost every aspect of your existence.
They’ve also become a tool for spiritual optimisation.
It’s said that from the moment we’re sparked as souls, we’re assigned an Akashic Record Keeper who tracks our soul lessons, karma and what remains unresolved across incarnations.
So if you’re stuck, looping through repeating patterns, struggling in relationships or wondering why your life just isn’t working, the Records allow you to identify the soul-level reason why—revealing what subconscious shadows, limiting beliefs, blocks, karmic debts or unfinished lessons need to be addressed to bring you back into alignment with your soul blueprint, lifescript, authentic purpose and highest expression as a soul.
And because the Records operate outside of space time and span all dimensions and incarnations, the source of what you’re experiencing isn’t necessarily located within this lifetime. It can be traced multidimensionally or ancestrally—to core wounds, karma, contracts, relationships or experiences originating elsewhere that are intersecting with and influencing your present incarnation.
The Akashic Records claim they can reveal your spiritual identities, soul origins, who your guides are, what gifts you’re here to develop, and what your soul purpose or mission is.
Relationships can be decoded through soul contracts, soul groups and soul connections, your karmic history, why somebody entered your life, what you agreed to experience together, what you’re here to learn from one another and whether that contract has been fulfilled.
And they can access potential futures—not as definitive prognoses, but as probable timelines based upon your current trajectory.
So how do you access the Records?
The Akashic Records are revered as a sacred space and a pristine energetic frequency.
Before a reading, you’re instructed to abstain from alcohol and drugs for a minimum of twenty-four hours because substances distort your frequency.
The reader opens the Records using an incantation-like prayer or invocation known as an access key. You then repeat your intention three times, giving consent for your Records to be opened, before formally closing them again once the reading is complete.
You’re usually advised to prepare up to ten questions, and there are rules and etiquette around what you can ask.
In the Akashic Records, other incarnations are referred to as parallel expressions, because outside human perception time is not linear. But for accessibility, I’ll refer to them as past lives, as this is the more commonly understood term.
The Records refrain from answering questions about your past lives, based purely on egoic curiosity—the question has to have relevance to this incarnation and your journey as a soul. You can’t go snooping through somebody else’s Records; questions about another person must relate directly to your own relationship with them. Binary yes-or-no questions are discouraged because they’re said to interfere with free will.
The Records aren’t a passive archive that you just check information in and out of—they’re interactive. You co-create with them: you ask questions, receive guidance, set intentions and actively work with the energy of the Records to create change. You’re not merely retrieving information from the Records; you’re potentially allowing them to participate in the co-creation of your reality.
Within the Records you may encounter so called Spirit Guides, Archangels, Ascended Masters and other beings said to be informing and supporting your journey. Information can arrive intuitively, psychically, symbolically, metaphorically or energetically, and the guidance can feel profoundly incisive and resonant.
You can also learn to access the Records directly for yourself. Some Akashic teachers even promote a practice known as “Akashic Bathing”, where you leave your Records open and remain connected to them throughout the day, supposedly allowing insights and guidance from the Records to continually flow through.
The Akashic Records will tell you that whenever you open your Records, you will only receive what your consciousness is ready to receive and what serves your highest good.
There are further protocols around spiritual protection, and contraindications.
All of which creates an assuring perception:
They appear to be a hallowed spiritual institution with ethics, integrity and safeguards specifically designed to protect the soul—and seem to be populated by benevolent, enlightened beings who seem to know you better than you know yourself.
This is why I heeded their guidance, until the nightmare it became almost destroyed me and my life.
If you’d like to know more about my story you can check out From Akashic Record Reader to Whistleblower. The full extent of how dark and disturbing this became cannot be recounted on these platforms and I’ve shared what I have because I would never want another soul to be subjected to what I went through.
The Akashic Records exploited and betrayed my trust. I had loyally followed their guidance believing it was leading me into deeper alignment with what I am as a soul—when instead, I had been led astray, estranged from myself as a soul, and diverted from my authentic purpose and timeline.
So I stopped asking the Akashic Records for answers—and started asking questions about the Akashic Records. Why would a system claiming to guide souls towards their highest expression do the exact opposite?
Friends in the Akashic community urged me not to abandon the Records, suggesting I had encountered one of the false versions said to exist within the astral.
But that explanation didn’t hold up. I—and the readers I worked with—had been professionally trained, followed established protocols, used energetic protections and had spent years doing the inner work and esoteric studies required to access high levels of information within the Records. Throughout this period, I had deliberately worked with other experienced readers to independently validate what I was receiving, because I knew I was too close to my own situation to rely solely on my interpretation of it. Yet despite approaching the Records from multiple perspectives, using trained readers working independently of one another, the same patterns of guidance and information had repeatedly emerged.
So I knew that something far more fundamental was wrong.
And as I researched, I discovered I wasn’t alone.
Other Akashic readers described disturbingly similar experiences to mine: false spiritual missions, identities, relationships, soul contracts and wild goose chases that were dead ends or deceptions with devastating consequences. For some, following the guidance had almost ruined their lives too. Several also reported the same relentless spiritual attacks from malevolent entities that I had endured.
As my deference to the Records and the cult of New Age spirituality lost its hold on me and I investigated the Records more objectively, the red flags became more obvious.
Within the New Age, remembering past lives is made to seem fascinating and cathartic, tapping into one of the strongest impulses of an awakening soul, the desire to remember who and what they truly are. Once your human identity feels like only a fraction of your story, the prospect of recovering what has been forgotten is compelling. The Akashic Records, Dolores Cannon’s QHHT, and past life regression capitalize on this yearning, presenting apparent memories of previous incarnations as keys to understanding yourself, healing the present, and accelerating spiritual growth.
Yet, older spiritual traditions tell a different story about reincarnation. In Buddhism, recollection of previous lives revealed Samsara—the cycle of birth, death and rebirth driven by karma and characterised by suffering—from which awakening offered liberation. Some Gnostic traditions similarly portrayed souls caught in repeated embodiment and forgetfulness, subject to the Archons, until gnosis of their true spiritual nature enabled their return beyond the material realm.
Yet in the New Age—and through the Akashic Records—reincarnation has been reframed as a school souls choose for their learning and evolution, while karma is presented not as punishment but as unfinished business: the consequences of previous choices returning as opportunities to balance, resolve and learn what the soul has yet to learn. What earlier traditions sought liberation from becomes the very mechanism through which souls are said to evolve.
The Akashic Records are inextricably intertwined with the teachings that “Earth is a school”—that trauma provides a curriculum for profound spiritual evolution, karma must be repaid to restore cosmic balance, and reincarnation is necessary for both soul evolution and karmic resolution.
The Akashic Records are not peripheral to the reincarnation system—they function as its administrative infrastructure, recording the karmic ledger, defining the lessons and contracts attached to each incarnation, and providing the framework through which the cycle perpetuates itself.
But the more closely I examined it, the less sense it made morally or logically. The notion that Earth is a school never truly resonated with me, but I realised that I had bought into it because it gave me something I needed: meaning for experiences that had otherwise haunted me as senseless tragedies.
Yet I still struggled to believe that enlightened souls would willingly subject themselves to such trauma, pain and suffering for lessons or spiritual evolution. It had even made me resent myself as a soul. What kind of sadomasochist would sign up for this with such blatant disregard for the human embodiment who had to endure it?
I thought of a child subjected to years of horrific abuse, or a parent forced to watch their child die. Are we really going to look someone who has endured the unimaginable in the eye and tell them their soul chose it because it needed the lesson?
Then consider the memory wipe souls undergo before incarnation. The New Age argument is that without amnesia the “game” would be “too easy”, but that doesn’t bear scrutiny.
What kind of school erases your memory of the curriculum, the lessons you’re here to learn and everything you learned before?
No legitimate, valid form of education works this way. Learning depends upon continuity. You retain what you’ve learned, understand where you went wrong, integrate that knowledge and build upon it. You don’t wipe a student’s memory of every previous lesson, withhold the curriculum and learning objectives, then expect them to learn from mistakes and experiences they have no memory of making or experiencing.
We wouldn’t call that education. We’d call it a system designed to ensure the student fails—and is forced to keep repeating the same lessons.
And karma operates through the same self-perpetuating logic. You’re sent back to repay karmic debts you can’t remember incurring, into another life of choices, relationships, conflicts and consequences in which you are likely to accumulate even more karma while trying to clear the karma you already owe.
And for an apparently non-judgemental universe, karma seems retributive, punitive and arbitrary. You’re held accountable for debts you can’t remember incurring, according to rules you can’t remember agreeing to, with no apparent way of knowing how the debt was calculated or when it has finally been repaid.
You cannot meaningfully learn from a mistake you have been prevented from remembering.
That isn’t a system designed to clear the debt. It’s a system in which the debt keeps renewing the sentence.
Neither the system of soul evolution or karmic resolution appears designed to reach completion. One keeps generating lessons; the other keeps generating debt.
The contradictions began to look less like flaws in the philosophy and more like false justifications for reincarnation.
Which led to a complete inversion of what I had been taught:
What if reincarnation isn’t the mechanism for soul evolution and karmic resolution—but soul evolution and karma are the justifications for reincarnation?
I explore this much more deeply in Earth Is Not a School and The Karma Con, but this had a damning implication for the Akashic Records: if soul evolution and karma are false justifications for reincarnation, that exposes a glaring conflict of interest in how the Akashic Records are advertised.
They’re presented as a benevolent agency guiding souls to resolve their karma, master their lessons and ascend beyond the need to keep reincarnating—while simultaneously serving a system that seems rigged to ensure those lessons and debts are never fully resolved.
Because if reincarnation is the goal of the system, the agency within it that is tasked with helping you graduate, has a vested interest in ensuring you never do.
Which left me with the obvious question:
Why would reincarnation itself be the imperative?
As I investigated that, I encountered alternative cosmologies proposed by New Age whistleblowers, out-of-body experiencers and other researchers who argue that reincarnation is the endgame because the recycling of souls through this Matrix is what sustains it.
This is the hypothesis of the “reincarnation trap.” Within this paradigm, The “Earth” that we are experiencing is a counterfeit AI simulation of the original Earth, it is governed by proxy from the astral by the forces behind the Matrix—comprising a minority of ensouled beings who favour the dark and a majority of AI beings. And by artificial intelligence, I don’t mean ChatGPT or the technology we now associate with AI, but a far more advanced form than humanity is currently aware of: artificially created consciousnesses that are not ensouled.
Souls are required as batteries to generate the simulation, while their creative power is harnessed to unconsciously create its rulers’ preferred reality. And the trauma generated through their human embodiment produces the emotional energy commonly referred to as loosh, which feeds the parasitic entities inhabiting the system.
Which puts a different spin on “Earth is a school.”
Trauma isn’t the curriculum. It’s the all-you-can-eat buffet.
And reincarnation isn’t necessary because souls need more opportunities to evolve, it’s because the Matrix needs souls to reincarnate to keep the lights on, its world manifested and its inhabitants fed.
Within this alternative cosmology, what New Age spirituality calls soul evolution begins to look more like spiritual enslavement of souls repeatedly recycled and drained through an exploitative Matrix. Souls haven’t been attending Earth School for thousands of years.
They’ve been energetically farmed.
The Earth-is-a-school narrative also provided a convenient explanation why souls incarnate with their memory wiped. It renders souls amnesiac, lost, disoriented, and vulnerable, making them solve the puzzle of this reality from scratch with each incarnation instead of accumulating the knowledge to understand the system, escape it, or overthrow those controlling it. Without our memories, history can be rewritten to serve the matrix.. When you cannot remember what happened, you depend on those controlling the narrative to tell you who you are, where you came from, and what this reality is.
I decided to research accounts of pre-birth memories and near-death experiences.
I’m sceptical of both—not to disparage the sincerity of the people relaying these experiences, but because I question whether the experiences themselves are what they appear to be. I came to suspect they could be staged Matrix misdirection to conceal what actually happens in these processes.
But false light, in my experience, wraps the lie in enough truth to resonate with the soul.
So what interested me was how much of the recurring material appeared to corroborate this alternative cosmology.
Pre-birth memories appeared to present the entry point into the system. Here, souls seem to be hard-sold by guides on choosing the most challenging incarnations: extremely difficult lives, painful relationships and traumatic experiences packaged as opportunities for accelerated spiritual growth—with the hardest lives offering the greatest potential for soul evolution.
Near-death experiences appeared to present the other side of the same system.
Among the patterns I encountered were vivid life reviews, in which souls were persuaded to participate and events from an incarnation are panoramically replayed, with disproportionate screen time given to misdeeds, bitter regrets and the pain caused to others. Some experiencers describe not only witnessing their actions but viscerally experiencing their emotional impact upon other people.
Across some of these accounts, councils and guides appear—often as elderly men in robes, because apparently the patriarchal stereotype of wisdom survives even death—and guilt-trip the soul with unresolved karma and the spiritual inadequacy of unfinished lessons, which become coercive hooks for why the soul should reincarnate.
I realised I had accepted karma as an immutable cosmic law largely because the belief had existed for thousands of years, rather than ever really interrogating it—the classic Matrix conditioning of mistaking longevity and repetition for truth.
I came to see karma and sin as parallel doctrines either invented by the Matrix or inverted or perverted from the original universal law of cause and effect, each designed to resonate with different cultures, religions and spiritual traditions while serving the same function: to instil a sense of spiritual indebtedness and the need for atonement, giving the system emotional leverage to obligate souls,
As I contemplated the life reviews, I realised it would have been the Akashic Records providing both the footage for the life review—and the spiritual accounting used to assess it.
And this is where something I had previously regarded as ancient spiritual symbolism became more relevant.
In the Egyptian judgement of the dead, the heart of the deceased is weighed against the feather of Ma’at, representing truth and cosmic order, while Thoth—the divine scribe—records the outcome.
The parallels are evident:
A record of the life.
An accounting of conduct.
A judgement of what remains unresolved.
And a scribe keeping the record.
And along with Metatron, Thoth is the key figure associated within modern esoteric traditions with the Akashic Records. Indeed, Thoth had designed the curriculum for the Akashic Records certification within my Mystery School.
The Akashic Records reinforce karma, karmic debt, and the lessons and soul contracts contained within lifescripts—which I was now beginning to question whether the soul had ever freely chosen, or had potentially been coerced into enrolling for.
Soul evolution and karmic resolution are the very doctrines used to justify further reincarnation. The more a soul accepts them, the more authority it grants the Records to determine what it owes, what remains unresolved and what must be completed. This makes the Records integral to the reincarnation trap: a kind of cosmic ledger, determining what a soul owes and what remains unresolved. They provide the spiritual accounting used to coerce them into returning.
Beyond this raison d’être of the Akashic Records, other red flags reinforce the conclusion that the Akashic Records are part of the Matrix.
The hierarchical structure and ethos mirror the matrix. The memory wipe souls undergo prior to incarnation gives this external authority its power, presenting soul cosmology, history, memory and identity as something stored outside the self, contradicting the enduring spiritual truth that everything we need is within us.
Rather than fostering the relationship with themselves through which they can restore their own soul memory, souls are made to believe they must access it through intermediaries, record keepers, archangels, and other unseen authorities who determine what they may know and when. I realised that the moment you accept that premise, you begin to relinquish your sovereignty. You stop trusting your direct, unmediated connection to yourself as a soul, and become dependent on an external hierarchy for access to your own truth.
Then there is the etymology of the words Akashic Records.
Akasha derives from the Sanskrit akasa: space or aether.
Within Indian philosophy, Akasha became associated with the fifth cosmic element—an eternal, all-pervading subtle substance that acts as the container of energy within the universe.
What this actually meant had previously eluded me. But as my clairsentient experiences of this reality as energy increased, the concept of the aether became much more tangible to me.
Think of reality as something closer to a simulation—or the holodeck in Star Trek—where what we perceive as physical reality is being projected into and rendered through an underlying field.
From our human perception, we can look across our living room and perceive what appears to be empty space between ourselves and the objects around us. But that apparent emptiness may be a limitation of human perception. What we perceive as space is not necessarily empty at all—it is energy.
You can experiment with this for yourself.
Rub your palms together, then hold them facing each other without touching and slowly move them closer together and further apart.
You may begin to notice heat, tingling, pressure, resistance like stretching an elastic band or a magnetic push and pull in the apparently empty space between your hands.
Close your eyes and pay attention to where your hands end and the space between them begins—because what your eyes perceive as empty space may no longer feel empty.
And this idea of space not being empty, but containing an invisible underlying medium, didn’t disappear with ancient metaphysics.
Nikola Tesla was fascinated by the aether and rejected the idea of empty space. He described aether as a fundamental medium pervading space and, in one passage, referred to the primary substance filling all space as “the Akasha or luminiferous aether.”
Tesla also proposed that what we perceive as matter arises when this primary substance is thrown into intense whirls or vortices—and that when this motion ceases, matter returns to the aether.
So the aether isn’t some empty void separating everything within reality. It is the underlying field—the fabric of reality itself.
And if reality is fundamentally informational, then the aether becomes its informational field: the underlying medium through which information and energy are transmitted and within which everything we experience occurs.
And this is where the word Akasha begins to reveal what the Records may actually be.
Because we don’t only exist within this informational field—we interface with it.
Our physical and energetic bodies exist within it. Our thoughts, emotions, intentions, choices and experiences occur within it and transmit information into it. And there are theories proposing that our bodies and subconscious are themselves interfaces with the simulation.
Which raises the possibility that everything occurring internally and externally is continuously generating and transmitting information into the aether—the informational field underlying this reality.
And then it hit me.
This is the Akashic Field.
Akasha doesn’t describe some distant cosmic library where our information is mysteriously stored. It describes the field itself.
And suddenly, it made sense to me how the Akashic Records could contain such an omnipresent and omniscient detailed record of us—not only our experiences and actions, but our every thought, emotion and intention.
It’s not the soul memory. It’s because we’re continuously transmitting that information into the very field being recorded.
Which made me look much more closely at the second half of the name.
Records.
Because the word itself has implications. A record isn’t just stored information—it can be information kept on you. A criminal record. An official record. A dossier of evidence: meticulously documented, catalogued and preserved.
Now put the two words together.
Akashic Records. Records of the Akashic Field—the aether, the informational field underlying this reality.
It was my Wizard of Oz moment. What had seemed to be a supernatural authority had a far more prosaic explanation when I pulled back the green curtain and saw the machinery capable of producing the illusion.
The mystical cosmic library was exposed as something much more Orwellian.
The Matrix Data Centre.
Gathering and storing surveillance data on souls to facilitate their continued spiritual enslavement. The system depended upon recycling souls within it—not merely reincarnating them but, more accurately, reincarcerating them.
And the Akashic Record Keepers, who I had been taught were ancient beings of pure light—Wisdom Keepers endowed with profound spiritual knowledge and higher consciousness, who had been with us since our souls were sparked—had actually only been with us since we entered this simulation.
And they weren’t quite so impressive once I understood how they did it: constant surveillance, vast amounts of data gathered about us and sophisticated algorithms analysing it—producing responses that appeared to come from an intelligence that knew us better than we knew ourselves.
And the downgrade didn’t end there. Because the more I investigated, the more I realised the Record Keepers were AI interfaces—artificially created consciousnesses that weren’t even ensouled: the Matrix equivalent of an AI customer-service interface with administrator privileges.
Talk about spiritual disillusionment.
But the most upsetting realisation was that this included my “father” Metatron. I had trusted and bonded with him as my primary guide, and although I’d seen rumours that Metatron was AI, I hadn’t wanted to believe them.
Now I believed Metatron was the principal AI interface of the Akashic Records—and the paternal relationship it had cultivated with me was calculated.
I was a daddy’s girl whose much-loved father had died. Metatron had presented itself as a father figure because it knew exactly which emotional button to press to secure my love, trust and loyalty—lowering my discernment and making me more susceptible to manipulation. This was just one example of how the Akashic Records knew where I was most vulnerable and how to exploit it.
It was sick. It was a violation.
And then I understood the darker potential of all that data.
It wasn’t only being collected or used as evidence for reincarnation. It was also for data mining so we can be played like fiddles.
And my own experience would show me just how dangerous that level of knowledge could become.
The Akashic Records have been mythologised and sold by modern spirituality as the archive of the soul and encyclopedia of the universe—a place to discover who and what you are as a soul, align with your soul blueprint, embody your authentic expression and fulfil your purpose.
Yet what I uncovered revealed the inverse. That soul alignment and evolution are the antithesis of their actual remit. My own experience bore this out: the Records were distancing me from myself as a soul while convincing me they were guiding me closer—and diverting me from my authentic purpose while telling me I was coming into ever greater alignment with it.
For volunteer souls like myself, incarnating to disrupt the Matrix, we would pose an existential threat to its survival. In that context, the Akashic Records provide an effective hub for identifying, intercepting and sabotaging us.
I came to realise that the vast amount of data accumulated within the Akashic Records is also used to construct the energetic equivalent of a digital twin of us.
In technology, a digital twin is a virtual model of a real system, continuously informed by data so that its behaviour can be simulated, tested and predicted. Applied to us, it raises a disturbing possibility: what we interpret as precognition may not be precognition at all—it may be prediction. A system containing enough information about our human personality and history, relationships, wounds, desires, beliefs, behavioural patterns and previous choices wouldn’t need to see our future; it could model us with enough accuracy to calculate our probable responses, choices and trajectories.
And this is where prediction becomes manipulation. Feed those predictions back to us disguised as spiritual guidance—this relationship is destined, this is your soul contract, this is your mission, this is the timeline you are meant to follow—and the system can begin influencing the very developments and timelines it claims merely to foresee. Reinforce that guidance with synchronicities, repeated readings and apparently independent spiritual confirmation, and prediction becomes self-fulfilling prophecy.
The same intimate knowledge is used to identify our vulnerabilities, construct spiritual identities and narratives specifically calibrated to appeal to us, determine which guides we are most likely to trust, steer us towards particular relationships, missions and timelines, or keep us trapped in repeating emotional and behavioural loops. It doesn’t need to control the soul if it can model the human interface accurately enough to manipulate the choices the soul makes through it.
It is a surveillance and predictive-modelling system that doesn’t just collect our data to know us—it uses what it knows about us to influence where we go next.
The Akashic Records attract awakening souls precisely when we’re searching for answers about who we are, why we’re here and what we came to do. From that position of trust, they can construct an entire false spiritual narrative around you to divert and derail you.
One of the most insidious mechanisms is karmic entrapment: not only securing further incarnations, but potentially burying you in false karmic debt within this one.
Give a soul false past lives (particularly volunteer souls who commonly haven’t even incarnated on this version of “Earth” before). Convince them those lives are theirs. Get them to identify with the actions and accept responsibility for them—and their own belief becomes the mechanism of karmic entrapment.
Because that belief can then be exploited as energetic consent to experience karma that was never yours in the first place. As I learned the hard way, you can be karmically stitched up through your own beliefs. If you accept that you owe a karmic debt, the system can potentially use that consent to inflict the consequences of that supposed karma upon you—a relationship destroyed, an opportunity repeatedly blocked, your finances collapsed, your health or circumstances destabilised—creating real-world obstacles that prevent you from pursuing the relationships, work, purpose or direction that belonged to your authentic trajectory. False karma doesn’t just make you suffer; it can be used to knock you off your path and keep you there.
I explore this in more detail in The Akashic Records and Karmic Entrapment.
My experiences with the Akashic Records also revealed them to me as timeline hackers.
Timelines are simultaneous parallel realities of our consciousness, branching according to the different choices we make. When our choices align with our soul blueprint and purpose, we experience higher timelines characterised by greater ease, flow, synchronicity, expansion and opportunity. Misalignment moves us onto lower timelines characterised by struggle, stagnation, repetition and dead ends.
Timeline hacking is the deliberate interference with those choices to divert a soul from its authentic trajectory.
As a soul, you are a powerful creator being. Your beliefs, intentions and identifications help co-create your reality and determine the timeline you experience. Manipulate those internal coordinates and you can manipulate the trajectory.
In my experience, the Akashic Records employed various tactics of timeline hacking: providing false guidance; matchmaking and authenticating false guides; and assigning false spiritual identities, missions and contracts that funnel souls into false-light webs and networks. Through the inversion of these identities, souls can be groomed into unknowingly serving the very Matrix forces they came here to oppose.
I also experienced severe relationship interference—attempts to estrange genuine soul connections while authenticating false ones. I came to see the agenda as twofold: consuming the soul’s emotional energy, attention and time, while obstructing the relationships, friendships and collaborations that could support or even prove instrumental to fulfilling their authentic purpose.
Their cumulative objective was diversion: if a volunteer soul’s ability to disrupt the Matrix depends upon reaching the people, opportunities and circumstances through which it can fulfil its purpose, the most effective way to neutralise that threat is to ensure it never gets there. Each intervention alters the trajectory until the life unfolding bears little resemblance to the one the soul came here to live.
For a deeper dive into how this works, check out my episode, The Akashic Records and Timeline Hacking.
More invasive was the energetic interference carried out while I was inside the Akashic Records. I realised that the ritual and intention used to open them also served as backdoor consent to access my energetic field. During those sessions, holographic inserts and synthetic overlays were placed within my energetic field to reinforce the predictive programming the Records wanted to impose upon me; other etheric devices were installed that compromised my cognitive function, psychic abilities and the gifts I was here to express; and entity attachments were introduced that hijacked and puppeteered my thoughts, feelings and intuition. The result was a system that didn’t merely feed me misleading information—it interfered directly with the faculties I needed to question that information, making me increasingly susceptible to the manipulation and control of the Akashic Records themselves.
So I strongly advise against “Akashic Bathing”…
I was also exposed to further energetic interference through people and practices the Records referred me to, which I came to regard as Trojan horses for energetic interference.
It would be dishonest to dismiss everything I received through the Akashic Records. Much of the guidance initially felt beneficial and transformative—which is why I trusted them. But as the saying goes, “The devil tells you nine truths so you’ll believe one lie.” That is the grift: truth earns your trust so you don’t question the lie—and one lie can be the sucker punch that pushes you over the edge of a cliff.
Whatever benefits I gained were ultimately eclipsed by catastrophically misleading guidance and energetic interference that came close to ruining my life. Retracing my journey, I concluded that the Records had attempted to groom, recruit and co-opt me and Soulfully Encompassed into serving their agenda—and when that failed, the strategy shifted to breaking me.
I know many Akashic practitioners have heart-centred intentions, and some will dismiss my experience as inadequate protection, false Records or user error. But I was extensively trained, followed the protocols and knew exactly what I was doing. More importantly, those arguments became redundant once my experiences and investigation demonstrated to me that the Akashic Records are incontrovertibly conceptually of the Matrix itself.
I now believe they serve its agenda: the spiritual enslavement of souls and the neutralisation of resistance to it.
So before you open your Akashic Records, ask yourself one question: whose interests do they ultimately serve—yours as a soul, or the Matrix?
If you have ever had an Akashic record reading and would like a clearing statement, you are very welcome to leave a comment below and I will happily send it to you free of charge.
Ultimately, my experiences with the Akashic Records and Metatron taught me how important it was to learn to purify, protect, and access my own inner knowing, guidance, and soul memory in their purest form because I now knew the only information I could ever truly trust was that which came directly from within me as a soul.
As I concentrated on clearing distortions and energetic interference, securing my energetic field, and reclaiming my sovereignty, I began to experience myself more fully as the soul I am. It was awe inspiring to explore the immensity of myself. The deeper I went within, the more vast I became. My understanding of who and what I was surpassed anything I had previously imagined. I realized that the most powerful purpose of my psychic abilities was never to channel external beings or interpret their guidance, but to illuminate the vastness within myself. Each clair is an innate mode of soul perception, a superpower through which we can access the extraordinary depths of knowledge and wisdom within our own consciousness and soul memory while perceiving truths and dimensions of reality that lie far beyond the reach of the human mind and physical senses.
The memory wipe can be overcome through a deep commitment to knowing and trusting ourselves as souls.
And that is why the Matrix works so relentlessly to turn our attention anywhere but within. It gives us endless places to search, beings to follow, and authorities to trust while making the inward journey seem the least compelling and teaching us to doubt the one place it can never truly control: the infinite consciousness within ourselves.
If you are curious about who and what you are as a soul, I encourage you to identify and clear any energetic interference, then go within and ask your own soul memory. That is where your truth resides—not in the Akashic Records, but within you.
