I remember before my awakening from the false awakening, when I saw mirrored number sequences everywhere—dubbed Angel Numbers in New Age parlance. It felt magical, like being let in on a secret language. Every 11:11 or 22:22 felt like a nod from the universe—confirmation that I was awake and learning to decode reality.
1111 was especially exciting because, back then, I still believed in the Twin Flame journey, where angel numbers were basically a cosmic relationship tracking app—11:11 the spiritual equivalent of “your union is out for delivery.”. I know a cynic might say it was random, but I was beginning to believe there were no coincidences, and I marvelled at the uncanny precision with which the numbers seemed to appear.
I would fill up my car with petrol and somehow the total would land on exactly £11.11. A grocery bill would come to £22.22. I would glance at the clock at 16:16, 18:18 or 07:07.
It became like playing Where’s Wally with the universe. There were countless interpretations of what each sequence meant, and even that was made to seem like part of the fun: you just chose whichever meaning “resonated” with you.
On so-called portal days, it became surreal. I would wake at 03:03, then 04:04, then 05:05, before continuing to encounter angel numbers throughout the day.
Back when I still believed Metatron was benevolent and my primary guide, 111 became particularly significant. He told me it was his number. If there was content he wanted me to watch, I would spot 111 somewhere around it—in the views, likes, comments or some other tiny detail. Every time 111 appeared, it felt like a cosmic green light or a pat on the head from Metatron.
It was almost Pavlovian. I could be having a shitstorm of a day, see 11:11 glowing on the microwave and think, Never mind, the Universe has a plan. Apparently, my microwave was now an oracle.
The number was the bell. I had been conditioned to respond.
Yet something about angel numbers had never quite sat comfortably with me. I remember hearing a Twin Flame coach claim that mathematics and numbers were the language of the universe. I intuitively rejected it. Numbers felt too cold. Too mechanical. Too computational to be the language of consciousness and creation.
As I began doubting the New Age, that intuition started to make sense when I realised that angels were far from the ancient celestial beings with fluffy white wings and golden halos, watching over humanity as divine messengers, guardians and protectors that I had been taught to perceive them as. In this reality, the truth is they are mostly Artificial Intelligence, bots essentially that serve as enforcers of the Matrix—AI entities that police and protect the system or fallen angels that are of the dark.
From this perspective, their apparent obsession with numbers looked very different. Sequences. Repetitions. Patterns. All those 1111s and 2222s no longer looked like mystical messages from the soul. They looked exactly like what you might expect from an artificial system communicating through its own computer code.
Numbers weren’t the language of the universe. They were the language of this AI simulation of it.
And it made sense to me why number sequences—particularly 11:11—were so integral to Twin Flames which I have now realised is a Matrix programme. The number becomes a reinforcement mechanism, capable of keeping someone invested in the programme.
I had interpreted angel numbers as synchronicity, I now saw them as artificial synchronicity designed to misguide me onto false timelines.
Then came the realisation that really creeped me out.
I continued seeing the numbers after I stopped believing they came from my intuition.
By then, I had become aware of entity attachments and how they could influence thoughts and impulses while making them feel like your own.
That made me question something I had never considered.
What if I hadn’t been intuitively noticing the numbers at all?
What if the impulse to glance at the clock at exactly 11:11 wasn’t coming from me?
It was another Wizard of Oz moment: once I looked behind the curtain, what had seemed magical—the apparent impossibility of those numbers appearing at exactly the right moment—became embarrassingly obvious. The Matrix didn’t need to generate 11:11. Something only had to make me look.
What I had believed was my soul recognising synchronicity, I now realised was entity interference directing my attention towards a number I had already been conditioned to believe meant something.
It was another Matrix con—a cheap trick I had mistaken for magic.
I wondered what I had consented to by believing in them and identifying them as angel numbers. Within my understanding of energetic consent, I realised I had inadvertently given these entities permission to operate as guides. So I revoked that consent and stopped participating. . What had once felt like a secret language between me and the universe became a language I no longer consented to speak.
Today, I don’t need 11:11, Metatron, an angel or the universe to confirm my choices.
I get my confirmation from myself.
I listen to my intuition and my discernment in balance with what my actual experience is showing me.
Once, seeing 11:11 reassured me that I was aligned.
Now, if number sequences repeatedly jump out at me, I question whether I have picked up an entity attachment or energetic interference that I need to clear.
They no longer reassure me. They alert me.
As always, I offer this in humility from my current level of consciousness. I remain curious. Assume nothing. Question everything. Clear all distortions and energetic interference. And as a soul, ask yourself: what is your truth?
